Intel’s online application
Intel Indonesia challenging developers to develop applications and sell them in stores Intel’s online application. It was announced by Narendra Bhandari, Director Asia Pacific Developer Relations Division in Intel’s Software and Service IDBYTE event which was held on Monday (7/11/2011) at Pacific Place, Jakarta.
Bhandari said, a number of advantages can be achieved when the market application users on the Intel App Up, Intel’s new online application store. One is a profitable business model maker application.
“The issue of business economy, we have a 70:30. 30 percent of Intel and partners will be taken so that it can maintain the infrastructure,” says Narendra.
In addition, Narendra revealed that application developers can also sell in other places, unlimited in Intel’s application store. “So you can develop a brand that is owned. Basically, it’s profitable for developers,” explained Narendra in his presentation.
The system also supports Intel’s application store convenience. “Once the application is downloaded it can be used in all devices,” said Narendra.

Amazon tablets
Amazon tablets show signs will be present in large numbers in the third quarter of 2011.
According to Digitimes speculative report on Thursday (07/07/2011) American time, the number of tablets that would get under the iPad.
The number of tablets that Amazon would enter the American market, which ranges between 1 million and 1.2 million units, according to Taiwan’s technology news site, is a conservative figure. Orders for Amazon touch panel even higher, around 2 million units.

Intel AppUp Give More to Developers
With AppUp, Intel helps local developer to sell its applications. Not only that, Intel also provides most of the price paid to the developer of consumer applications.
It is delivered by the Director of Asia Pacific Software and Services Group Intel, Narendra Bhandari, said here on Thursday (14/07/2011).
“For example, an application for USD 100 thousand. I bought it. As much as Rp 30 thousand will go back (to Intel). 70 percent of the price will go back to application developers,” says Narendra.
He said that the 30 percent that will be used by Intel for the development of servers, telecommunications, and infrastructure.
In addition, he said, developers do not need to pay any fees. According to him, the developer need only submit their application, and Intel will take care of his sales.

Health Research Through Twitter
Two computer scientists from Johns Hopkins University, the United States conduct health research through Twitter. They observed 1.5 million health-related tweets from May 2009 until October 2010, to determine the range of diseases and how people cope.
Looked in research, not a few people choose the wrong drug for the pain they suffered. “A lot of tweets that prove that there has been a serious misperception out there,” says PhD student Michael J. Paul one of the researchers.
“Some people send a tweet that they take antibiotics to treat the flu,” said Paul. “Though not suitable antibiotics for the flu, which actually is a virus, and errors such as these play a role in creating the problem of antibiotic immunity.”
The researchers used a computer program designed specifically for select health-related tweet among billions of tweets during the study period. The program is also able to separate the phrases that are not related to health, despite containing the word commonly used in the context of health.
Than 20,000 health-related tweets, obtained information that allows researchers to identify the origin of the disease. The data allows researchers to identify health trends in a country, especially the U.S.. “We observe, allergy season starts earlier in the warmer states,” said Professor Mark Dredze who chaired the study.

Google Tool eBooks Sale This Week
Google will make inroads, into the e-reader market next week with the release of devices that use Google platform eBooks and sold at Target. This device will be sold at retail on July 17 at a price of 139.99 U.S. dollars. The same price applies for the Kindle and Reader Nook Simple Touch.
According to a blog posted by Google, this device has a qwerty keyboard and a black screen gray, just like the Kindle. These devices can access more than 3 million eBooks for free Google and hundreds of thousands of e-book paid. This is the first device that can download the titles of e-books via a Wi-Fi. Previously, users should download the titles of e-book from your PC and then transfer them to the eReader.
Google’s entry into e-book market in December with its Google eBookstore. Since then, the company has expanded its distribution, by adding a partner of independent bookstores all 250 in May.

Next month, Sony Reader Latest Version
Japan’s largest electronics exporter, plans to introduce a product or device digital book readers in particular the latest digital book reader. As if challenging a similar product that belongs to Amazon.com Inc., planned to launch will be conducted in the United States early next month.
This brand-new Sony Reader will be priced between 180 dollars to 300 dollars per unit. “Sony will repair the hardware and software from previous products,” said Phil Lubell, vice president of Sony digital readers at Sony Electronics reported by Bloomberg.
Tokyo-based manufacturer will introduce this brand-new product before launching the first model of tablet computer. Lubell said the company will continue to drive sales because product prices are cheaper than the tablet product.
“Sony looks to struggle to expand e-business readers earlier than the planned time,” said Nobuo Kurahashi, an analyst with Mizuho Financial Group Inc. in Tokyo.
Information alone, the number of Americans who have an electronic reader like Kindle rise until doubled in six months. A survey by the Pew Research Center said that until May as college graduates and adults in the highest income category choose the tablet computer

Honeycomb is the operating system that Google hopes will finally see it challenging Apple in terms of user interface. Although it was designed with Motorola’s Xoom in mind – to such an extent that employees from both companies were co-located – Google’s David Burke describes the experience as “about as pure Google as you’re going to get”.
The device has no physical buttons on the front – all of them are virtual, so they’re always on the bottom left of the screen. Motorola says this means “you never get lost”. A barometer means the device has a sensor for height, so it’s a matter of time before an app is designed specifically for parachutists.
With a dual-core Nvidia processor, the Xoom combines impressive speed with Google’s new interface. Motorola said it will add some features of its own, but the bulk of the innovation appears to be from Google’s end here. When the product launches later this year, it will be down to Motorola to distinguish Xoom from the scores of other tablets that will emerge running Honeycomb.
Tabbed browsing and bookmark syncing with Chrome, access to Google books, a 3D video wall to show off YouTube clips, a two-pane Gmail interface are all welcome additions, but also requirements to compete with the gloss of the iPad.
Where the interface impresses particularly – a slick solution to task switching brings up a neat list of running applications, for instance – it is in greasing wheels that already exist rather than introducing radical new possibilities.
With that in mind, price will be key. According to Motorola, at “the price level we’re launching it at, it will be successful”.
That is likely to be the case – but the company makes another interesting point. Their popular Defy handset started out with a problem: users drop phones and they bbreak, so Motorla made a more rugged phone.

These tablets also possess a built-in gyroscope, a barometer, e-compass, accelerometer, and adaptive lighting. These tablets can play video for 10 hours and charge the battery more quickly than the tablet competitors in the market.
Unfortunately, Motorola has not revealed how much the sale price. This tablet product will compete with other brand products that had first come out, like Iconia Acer, Asus Eee Transformer Pad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and following the BlackBerry Playbook.

Imagine a future computer, a speed thousands of times faster than the fastest supercomputer today. Thousands of times faster and more efficiently than IBM’s “Roadrunner” at Los Alamos that the velocity reaches 1.7 petaflops (a petaflop = 10 ^ 15 operations per second).
This is the awesomeness of quantum computers. This computer is so powerful because it was created using the magic world of quantum phenomena, Quantum superposition and entanglement.
In solving such code (cryptography), to decode the digits up to 140, an ordinary computer would take billions of years to solve. But a quantum computer, this can be solved in just a few tens of minutes.
With these computer people will also be able to predict weather on Earth and other natural phenomena are very complex with very accurate months in advance, such as earthquakes and tornadoes.
